Russell manages the vacation rental business with innovation, attention to detail and passion. From guest ranch operator to RV resort owner to Partner at a luxury golf resort, Russell’s expertise is broad-based and diverse. A long -time local, he is a lucky father of two girls and a grateful husband to Lisa. Russell enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling and cross-country skiing, but most of all he relishes time with his family.
A chronic entrepreneur and visionary, Chris has a wide range of experience from management consulting to founding dot-coms and private schools. As our fearless leader, Chris brings a next-generation streamlined approach to the process of serving our clients. Passionate about our community for the past 20 years, Chris lives in Breckenridge with his wife, Shannon, and kids Chase and Jack. While entrepreneurship appears to be his main hobby, the Renner family also loves traveling to exotic locations such as Europe and Africa, where they recently investigated microfinance in Rwanda, camped on safari among the wildlife of the Masai Mara, and scuba dived in the Indian Ocean.
Candace started working with Pinnacle in 2010. Her primary responsibilities are VisitBreck reservations and sales. She loves to snowboard, cross-country ski, ride horses, and play tennis. Candace is married to an avid skier and has two children, her daughter and her Pomeranian Yuki. She came to Breckenridge in 1997 for a long snowboard trip and decided not to leave.
Kayla originally moved to Summit County in 2012 from Texas and has loved every minute of it. She came to Pinnacle with 10 years of guest service experience, including 4 years directly in the hospitality industry. Specializing in Owner Relations, Kayla strives to provide our owners with a high level of personal service and a quality ownership experience. When not at work, you can find her backpacking, skiing, spending time with friends and family, or just doing anything and everything to appreciate this beautiful town.
Originally from New Mexico, Dustin has been in Summit County since 2005 working as a backpacking guide and teaching high school classes. He ensures superior guest service in all aspects of our vacation rental properties; managing relationships with our vendors, ensuring property standards are kept, and implementing daily operations. Dustin’s hobbies include mountaineering, skiing, drinking coffee, spending time with his wife Kayla.
Stasia works seasonally in Guest Services for Pinnacle Lodging. She grew up on skis in Northern Utah, then came to Colorado for school and has been here since. Stasia spends her winters in the Colorado snow, getting in as many ski days as possible, and goes to Alaska for the summers to work as an outdoor guide. Other than skiing, she loves backpacking, rock climbing, trail running, and freelance writing in her spare time.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Kate moved to Summit County this year and is excited to be a part of the Pinnacle team working in guest services. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Kate made the move out to Colorado. In her spare time, Kate can usually be found outdoors with her dog, Bear. Whether it’s hiking, skiing, spontaneous road trips, or just wandering around somewhere new, Kate is always seeking new adventures with family and friends.
Stephen originally moved to Breckenridge in the early ‘90’s when his parents decided to leave the city life behind in Houston, TX. You can usually find Stephen behind the front desk at Pinnacle Lodging but if he’s not there, check one of the many mountain bike trails around town. He will likely have his fiancé, Mikel, and his dog, Garmin, by his side.
Ben moved to Breckenridge from Texas in 2013. Ben helps keep our owners homes in peak condition for our guests through minor maintenance, guest fulfillment, and seasonal walkthroughs. When he isn’t at work, you can find Ben snowboarding or snowshoeing in the winter, and mountain biking or backpacking in the summer. He came to Breckenridge for the beautiful mountain living and the endless recreational opportunities. It’s safe to say he hasn’t wasted a minute.
Rachel manages our channel partner relationships and lodging distribution. She is also our on-ramp specialist; managing the property databases with descriptions, photos and rates. She loves to run, hike, bike and travel and claims summer is the best season in Breckenridge. Rachel and her husband Matt moved here in 2007 from Minnesota. They have two teenage daughters and two dogs and don’t appear to be in any hurry to leave.
Lisa is now a Breckenridge veteran after moving here in 1993. She started working for Pinnacle ten years later as our lead home inspector, ensuring that all our properties are being given professional and top quality care. Lisa loves spending time in the mountains with her husband Russ and two daughters, Alex and AnnaGrace. She is an avid CrossFit participant and enjoys cooking new dishes.
With a background in graphic design and web development and a creative impulse, Shannon oversees the development of email campaigns, websites, and search engine optimization. She truly enjoys working for Pinnacle and admits it’s fun working with her hubby. Shannon is the proud mother of two handsome boys, Chase and Jack, and can typically be found walking the new puppy, Lucy, when she’s not dreaming up new web stuff for Pinnacle Lodging.
Christine works on the marketing strategy and implementation for Pinnacle Mountain Homes, Pinnacle Lodging and VisitBreck. She has worked in tourism and real estate marketing since 2000. In her former life, Christine used to be a chef and has opened and managed restaurants. She has lived in Summit County since 1995, also lived in Paris, Virgin Islands, New England, and grew up Ireland. Christine has a 18yr old son and she enjoys hiking, road biking, swing and blues dancing, and skiing. She is a GoBreck marketing committee member, Dillon Economic Development Committee member and a Breckenridge Tourism Office board member.
Matt has an extensive background in retail operations and business management. He is responsible for Pinnacle Lodging market analytics, business performance indicators, building relationships within the community and lodging industry and acquiring new Pinnacle vacation homes. Matt enjoys all facets of home improvement, a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur and restores Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Carl oversees Pinnacle’s entire technology infrastructure and implementation. Previously, Carl worked as a commercial real estate broker in San Antonio, TX and as an investment banker in New York City. He has over 18 years of industry experience in business development, real estate and technology. Carl grew up in San Antonio (Texas), has lived in Austin (Texas), Salamanca (Spain), New York City (Brooklyn & Manhattan) and has called Breckenridge home for the past 5 years. He’s into hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, live music, travel, ancestry research and hanging out with his wife, Melissa, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Nora & Beau. A 10 year local originally from Wisconsin, Asa joined Pinnacle in the early years and now manages all the finances for the company and also sits on the Summit County Parade of Homes Committee. Asa loves mountain biking, snowboarding, cooking, cars, and a good BBQ on a patio with a view. An adventurer that travels to exotic places, Asa married his wife, Heather, in Thailand and now has a baby boy, Pai.
What started as a mountain destination wedding in August 2013, led Natalie to begin her career at Pinnacle Lodging and live in Breckenridge full-time. Not able to resist the natural beauty and down-to-earth, conscientious people of Colorado, she has been here ever since. She manages the full cycle of owner billing, month end procedures, vendor billing, payroll, and other analyses and projects streamlining the business processes. Outside of work she hikes with her two dogs Aspen and Petey, playing in her coed softball league, traveling, and visiting friends and family.
Joel grew up on a 2,000 acre corn farm in Deer Grove, IL. He has worked as a computer tech, snowboard instructor, musician, novice mechanic, carpenter, youth pastor and now he can add Maintenance Technician to his resume. When Joel is off the clock he can be found watching Star Trek, Star Wars, Halo, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Firefly, Seinfeld, 24, and Conan.
