As you start to think about interior design, think about your space and how you plan to use it. Ask yourself, do you plan to entertain family regularly or will it become a mountain vacation rental? Do you have teenagers who would enjoy a rec. room? Whether creating a home for family gatherings or a cozy retreat, your home should reflect your lifestyle.

Your personality and style are the cornerstone of your home. From mountain modern to traditional interior design to an eclectic mix of both, the furnishings will set a tone for years to come. Finding a quality resource for your furnishings will make a big difference to your long-term enjoyment and use of the furniture.

Many homeowners have one special piece of art or furniture that becomes the inspiration for their home. Whether it be a treasure from your travels, a piece of family memorabilia or simply some furniture that is comfortable and elegant, allow it to influence the interior design and flow of your furnishings.

The colors you choose for paint, accessories, furniture and finishes do not have to match but they should complement the theme and style of your home. The colors that are trending currently are neutrals accented with pops of colors from throw pillows, flowers and other accessories.

Our clients enjoy using Houzz idea books to gather images and ideas that portray their personal style to their interior designer. You no longer need to cut up magazines and send them to us, Houzz can do all this for you.

There are so many details from choosing faucet colors, finishes and style to understanding how a bed transforms a bedroom to picking paint colors. Allow a professional designer to guide you through the details and assist you with finding the finishes, fixtures and furniture that complement your home.
