What a great place and location. Walking distance to Main St. for shopping, restaurants and grocery sores etc. River Bend was a very comfortable condo with all the amenities as home. The management team were very professional, kind, courteous and prompt to handling any situation. Very close to hiking and mountain bike trails for the entire family, perfect vacation getaway.
Hiking trails just outside the condo, a mountain stream humming outside so we left the windows cracked at night so we could listen to it. The condo has every amenity, full kitchen including coffee maker and blender. Wifi, Xbox games movies and Netflix if you're bored. Walking distance from Main Street downtown. Property manager is great to work with.
It was a beautifully appointed condo with close proximity to the mountain but the snowflake lift is a little off the beaten path and it is hard to find and get to/from the main mountains a lot of pushing if you know what I mean.
This is the 4th year we have stayed in this condo. Excellent accomodations in a great location. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was our second year in a row staying at this condo. It is hard to find a better location in Breck - you really are only steps away from the lift once you walk out the door. And the building itself is very nice and well maintained. The parking situation is excellent and the ski storage is convenient. While the location is tremendous and the building is great, this unit itself leaves several things to be desired - things that we communicated after our last stay but one year later had not been addressed. First, the climate control is terrible. One bedroom doesn’t warm up, the other bedroom is impossible to keep cool enough to sleep in. The heat is radiant heat, so the thermostats are all but useless. Maintaining a consistent temperature in the unit is nearly impossible. Second, the windows need to be replaced. There is condensation between the panes and there are serious drafts, contributing to the climate control problems. The insulation from these windows is bad enough that the condensation on the inside of the windows freezes solid when it collects at the bottom of the panes. Third, the master bathroom shower plumbing needs to be repaired - there is a definite art to getting the hot water to come on as the faucet handle is very loose and feels like it might fall off. Fourth, the oven door does not close completely, so it takes forever for the oven to come to temperature - not good when you are trying to feed hungry skiers dinner. Fifth, the carpet desperately needs cleaning - it is filthy and makes the condo smell very musty. There are several other small maintenance items that need to be addressed that are not worth listing in this review, but added all together makes for a less than enjoyable experience.

Tyra Riverbend Lodge is a beautifully designed ski-in/ski-out complex located next to the Snowflake Lift in the Four O’Clock area. It is surrounded by open space and wetlands with close proximity to downtown Breckenridge. This private two bedroom, two bath condo is the closet unit to the lift and is situated away from most of the other units. This beautiful condo features a soaring vaulted ceiling with a wall of windows in the living area that brings in plenty of natural light. Guests will love the serenity of the quiet wooded backdrop and the nearby mountain stream in the summer.
LOCATION – Tyra Riverbend Lodge is located in the Four O’Clock area next to the Snowflake Lift and the Blue Sky Lodge. Blue Sky Lodge has a lift ticket window to purchase lift tickets, a coffee bar and a small ski rental shop for ski and snowboard rentals. This property has quick access to the heart of town and to the base of Peak 9. Guests can enjoy the free in-town shuttle with the stop directly across the street at the base of the Snowflake Lift.
AMENITIES – This unit is finely decorated and has all the amenities guests will need, including a spacious open floor plan with in-floor radiant heat, flat screen TVs in the living area and both bedrooms, a private deck, a gas fireplace, private laundry, a CD/iPod dock, an Xbox 360 game system with an assortment of video games, board games, books and puzzles.
