Convenient comfortable home for exploring the area

Beautiful view, comfortable and spacious accommodations. Everything you could need. Great, secluded fire pit, lovely patio, hot tub and children's play area. Kitchen and pantry was well stocked for a large group. We had a great time in Breckenridge!

Stunning retreat near Breckenridge

Swan River Retreat is a first class "home away from home". Clearly a lot of thought has been given to make this a real retreat; from the plush towels and heated towel racks to the cozy underfloor heating! A large, well-appointed kitchen allows you to entertain family and friends and can easily accommodate a large group. The ski slopes are only minutes away and there is nothing like soothing aching muscles in the hot tub after a long day conquering the slopes. This is a definite repeat destination!

The mountains change color everyday!

Whether you are skiing in winter or hiking in summer, you will be thrilled to "come home" to this well appointed luxury mountain retreat. The sunsets are just amazing and the stars really twinkle when viewed from inside the hot tub! This home offers real privacy, even though it is large enough for a lot of friends and family. The kitchen and two large living areas are comfortable and inviting after a day adventuring out of doors. We will happily return to this beautifully decorated and inviting home!

Ski Trip with Friends

Our stay at Swan River Retreat was amazing. The house is beautifully decorated and is great for mixed groups of families and friends. Every day after skiing and snowboarding, we looked forward to coming home to home cook meals made in the gorgeous and fully furnished kitchen, followed by relaxing in the spacious hot tub watching the sun go down until the stars came up. For boarders and skiiers, there is a lot of room for storing snow equipment as well as a mudroom to put on equipment and a station to air out your boots in the garage. The location of the house is perfect, as it was a quick drive from the Breckenridge ski resort. For the days off the slopes, staying in the house was just as fun as enjoying the town. The house is filled with lots of activities including the pool table upstairs, the cute play house outside, entertainment systems, and games for hours of fun. We absolutely loved our stay at this resort and would definitely come back to stay here again! Looking forward to seeing the beautiful views from this house in the future.

Swan River Retreat Property

Spacious property, perfect for large families with kids. We were 15 people and there was plenty of space for everyone's needs and wants. Hot tub and amish playground make for amazing amenities for both adults and kids. Located in a wonderful neighborhood near city center. The views of the forest and mountains are breathtaking. I would totally recommend this property 100%, especially if you are a large family with kids. We really enjoyed the house, neighborhood and experience in Breckenbridge overall.

Fantastic Home

What a beautiful home. We loved our stay here! The kids enjoyed the backyard playsets and walking down to see the river. We even caught a glimpse of a fox in the backyard on a couple of evenings. We had a wonderful time exploring the town and palying at the Summer Fun Park up on the mountain. This was a great place for a family get together, plenty of room for everyone and lots of things to do and see."

Just Beautiful!

We stayed a week in this house with friends and had a great time. The house is beautiful and spacious with top-notch furnishings. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The large dining table can easily seat 10. The living room and media room have several very comfortable recliners and sofas. There is a large flat screen tv in the living room with a great sound system in addition to the set-up in the media room. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The beds are comfortable with nice linens and the bathrooms are furnished with quality towels. The 3-car garage and the mud room with hooks and cubbies for everyone's belongings are a nice convenience. The view of the mountains from the property is wonderful. The house is conveniently located between Frisco and Breckenridge. This is a great place to stay.

guys trip to Breckenridge 2015!

This is one if not the most comfortable and beautiful resort type homes I've been in. With 8 guys on this trip, we all had our own beds and most their own rooms and baths! The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean and spacious, with a spectacular view of the mountains. One could easily fit 3-4 family's with no problem and not feel cramped. Very open spacious floor plan, huuuuge screen TV with gaming/sound system, great pool table upstairs for lively competition! Awesome hot tub outside the master suite, oh...and the stars so clear you could easily see the milky way!. Never got to play in the playground area with a really cute play house, but could see the grand kids doing it (sorry too much snow on the ground)! Already trying to figure out how to do a family reunion there. Just a very minutes from the ski resort, even shorter distance from the greatest snow mobile track, with Frisco about 5-10 minutes away with anything one needs. The pics of the place are nice, the actual home is better then expected. We cooked every night for 8, had plenty of pots and pans and dishes. Really liked the snow boot and glove warmer....nice feature. Envious of the 3 car garage. If your taking customers for a business/fun trip you will not be embarrassed. It was a great trip for snow, snowmobiling and fellowship, but the home made it so much better, and comfortable. it's a great place!!!

Skier from Evergreen

The house is beautiful and with a fantastic view. It is handy to the skiing at Breck and easy access from the highway. The sleeping accommodations and bathrooms were excellent. The open kitchen dining and TV room with large screen were excellent for casual dining or more formal. The murphy bed with a TV when up is interesting. There is a beautiful hot tub where you can watch the stars. The mud room is set up with dryers for the ski boots and gloves. I would recommend this place for groups or large families. The three car garage is set up for skis and poles for easy storage.

Fantastic Breckenridge Vacation Rental

Our family has nothing but the highest praise for this amazing property. Swan River Retreat certainly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed with this beautifully decorated, recently remodeled home and awestruck by the spectacular mountain views from almost every window. We visited this high end luxury retreat twice, in January and October 2014, and loved the beauty of both seasons. We were immediately aware of the well thought out decor and attention to detail of every aspect of the house. The kitchen is equipped with more high quality appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils than we could possibly use. You can tell the owners truly care that the renters have a positive experience by the helpful instructional notes that they’ve posted to make operating and finding things easier. All of the extra touches made our stay even more enjoyable, such as the luxurious furniture, super comfortable mattresses and bed linens, steam shower, towel warmers, private outdoor hot tub, spacious three car garage, and drink fridge and ice maker in the bar. There’s a state of the art sound system throughout, new flat screen TVs, pool table, and something special that’s really important to us: fast, reliable high speed internet! We appreciated having a terrific mud room with plenty of space for our ski equipment and lots of hooks for our jackets, caps, and gloves, cubbies for our stuff, as well as heaters to dry out our boots. We found that the two sets of washers and dryers, in the mud room as well as in the walk in closet of the master bedroom, were quite helpful in keeping current with the wash. We were very happy with the quick and easy access to the slopes and found it to be an ideal location between Breckenridge and Frisco. Although we didn’t have time to use it, a scenic championship golf course can be seen from the house. The outdoor area around the Retreat is complete with a lovely, serene water feature and fun playhouse and playground equipment. We enjoyed the easy nature trail walk from the house to the fire pit seating area and on down to the river. This meticulously maintained home would be comfortable for any sized group: couples, friends, or family. We truly felt like it was our home for a week and our only complaint was that we didn’t want to leave. We’ll just have to continue reminiscing about the breathtaking mountain vistas and picturesque sunsets and look forward to our next trip!

Superstar Rental - Swan River Retreat

Our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) stayed in the Swan River Retreat for 7 days in July, 2014. The house was clean and well out fitted. The house is fantastic! We had use of 5 bedrooms, and 4 full bathrooms and 2 half bathroom. The space in the house is great. Large bedrooms, spacious living room with 2 story ceilings, and a well laid out kitchen which handled multiple cooks at the same time. The house also has a full sized pool table, which we never found the time to use. Also there is a media room with over sized leather chairs, which the kids loved. The house is top end with high quality fixtures, excessive number of cabinets and storage, granite in the kitchen & bathrooms, and numerous dimmable can lights. There are 2 sets of washer & dryers, one of which is in the master walk-in closet. We found that the dining room table easily accommodated our family and gave us easy access to the kitchen. The house is situated 5 miles north of Breckenridge and 6 miles south of Frisco, on a very large lot, and is situated on the Swan River. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, with incredible views of the snow capped mountain ranges, even in the summer, this year. Our family loved being outside, using the jacuzzi tub, having a glass of wine on the covered deck off the dining room, playing 'pickle' on the grassy backyard, having Smores on the fire pit near the Swan River, and watching the kids play on the massive slide/swing set. The summertime and especially over the 4th, is a great time to be in Breck. We were able to cram in several activities, but ran out of days to do everything on our list. We did a goldmine tour & panning for gold, went rafting on the Colorado River (a family 'float ride' out of Kremmling - AVA), went on a summer dog sled ride ( Snow Caps Sled Dogs), went up the free gondola to the kids activities area, rented a pontoon boat at the Frisco Marina and went fishing, went to the Breckenridge Recreation Center and used the fitness facilities and the indoor pool & slide, numerous hours shopping on Main Street and at the Summer Art Fair, and of course, we attended the 4th of July parade down Main Street and the evening fireworks. We would recommend the Swan River Retreat to families of any size and we hope to come back in the winter to do some skiing.

Loved Swan River Retreat

This was a fantastic property. The location is close to the town of Breckenridge while far enough away to have privacy, space and amazing views. The outside full-size playhouse and adjacent playground were fantastic for the four kids ages 5 to 10 in our party. There was plenty of room in the house and the views from the kitchen, family room and master bedroom are spectacular. The fire pit outback, the trails that you can take to explore the property, and the Swan River flowing through the back yard, only add to the enjoyment of this location. We would definitely stay here again. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

NYE at Swan River Retreat

Our group of 14 stayed at the Swan River Retreat over the New Years holiday. When we walked into the home, we were all speechless. It far exceeded our expectations, and the pictures just don't do it justice. There was enough space for all 14 of us and then some! The house was recently remodeled and was extremely clean as well. The panoramic mountain views out the back of the house were spectacular and perfect to enjoy while relaxing to the hot tub. Not to mention, the home is very private with no other homes stacked right up next to it. Location was great for all of the skiers and snowboarders... less than 10 minutes to Breckenridge, 15 minutes to Keystone, 25 minutes to A-Basin, and 35 minutes to Vail. The roads were a little bit snow-packed getting to the house, but even our non-4WD cars made it in and out just fine. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough dishes and and equipment to serve the whole group, and linens and pillows were no problem either. The other amenities are endless... steam shower, towel warmers, heated floors, jacuzzi tubs, wonderful mattresses, heated 3-car garage, BBQ grill, built in stereo system... I could go on forever. Management was also extremely helpful during booking and throughout our stay. I have nothing bad to say about this house or the management and am looking forward to staying again in the future!
