Family of 9 adults were very impressed with the location to Breck, the amenities in the house and especially the hot tub. There was nothing we needed, because the kitchen was stocked perfectly and the appliances were top of the line. The driveway had easy access and the Two car garage was very nice. Oh yeah, the weber grill with built in gas line was just what we needed for our New Years Eve dinner.
We stayed here for about a month. It was perfect! Great access to town while also maintaining privacy. Hot tub was great as well. This house was very thoughtfully designed, we wish we could have stayed longer.
Out of town but very convenient. No traffic. Very quiet. First class house.
This was a great house with a nice deck to sit on and view the Mountain.

The house itself is amazing. Great for a large family of 8. Modern appliances, great layout. No complaints. Be aware there is no AC. Not a big deal during winter, but summer it gets hot. There were just some little things that could have made the stay more enjoyable. The toilets didn't flush consistently. We had to take the lids off to get the tanks to fill. Minor annoyance, but one nonetheless. There were lights out when we arrived and had to call maintenance. He came quickly, but oddly just let himself in. Possible he knocked but didn't hear it at all. Also, by he hot tub there were a few beer cans scattered around as if neighbors were using the tub. Didn't really care but would have been nice if it was cleaned up prior to arrival. Location is a little remote, so be prepared for a 10 or so minute drive to town (watch out for cops!)

Lone Hand Lodge was a wonderful vacation house. We visited in the summer. The views were beautiful, especially from the large windows in main living space and master bedroom. Loved the wrap around porch. Kids picked wildflowers in the yard. Hot tub was a hit. The house had all the amenities one could ask for and more. Plenty of room for the six of us, especially when many wanted their own bedroom. House is close to town but not too close - enjoyed the drive in to town, looking for wildlife. We were very comfortable in the cozy house and would recommend it to anyone. Great service from Visit Breck office as well!
Great house, great vacation! We have always rented homes on Baldy Mtn. and we were concerned about changing, but the house and views of Horseshoe Bowl & Peak 7 were incredible ! Close proximity to town! House is as depicted and perfect!
Really enjoyed the stay! Large house with plenty of room for the kids to play. Accommodations are nice for large families on Thanksgiving. Kitchen equipped for cooking Thanksgiving meal!
The house was great, exceeded my expectations in terms of how it was decorated and the supplies it had available.
We stayed at the Lone Hand Lodge for a Ski Trip with 10 people. The house was large enough that we each had our privacy and the amenities were great. The kitchen had everything needed to cook any meal while the bedrooms were kept clean and comfortable. The entertainment at the house was super, including board games, Wii system and large LCD Tv's. The hot tub was kept clean and well managed, which let us relax like royalty after a day of skiing. One of the highlights is the dining table. Opening the curtains every morning to see the wonderful mountains, blue skies and serene environment was perfect. We would eat every meal just staring outside, wishing we got to stay at this home for longer. Overall a great experience. Would do it again.
Wonderful way to spend our vacation. The house was perfect. The moment we came in, everyone screamed with excitement. Kitchen had everything needed to cook with, bedrooms were comfy, baths all worked and the jacuzzi made the night. The best part was waking up in the morning and seeing the stunning view of the mountains. Highly recommended. Stayed with 10 people and everyone had a superb time. Will go again for sure!
We enjoyed our week at Lone Hand Lodge. We are 5 adults-two terrific couples, one tag-along grandmother, & six nearly perfect children ages 6 - 13. The nearby forest was the perfect place for building of a really cool fort, the hot tub gave a terrific respite after the dads' training rides, and the location was convenient to wonderful Breckenridge shopping and restaurants. Very well-equipped kitchen - appliances, cookware. We especially appreciated the Wii sport, both for entertaining kids during rainy hours and for our Family Olympics the last night. Big plus: Pinnacle called on Day 2 to see if we needed anything at all, and we requested more laundry detergent and bathroom towels. These were promptly delivered that afternoon!
We stayed for two weeks at this home and were thrilled with the location, interior and exterior! The wraparound deck was delightful and the spacious home was perfect for our family! Wonderful home !
We loved the house! Our family consisted of 6 adults with 4 little ones! Perfect place for our family getaway . Close to town but able to enjoy our mountain. Couldn't ask for a more wonderful getaway. And we were here for 2 weeks. Can't wait to come back.
The lone hand lodge is a wonderful home for a vacation rental. It is perfectly furnished with all the necessities of home. From the fully equipped kitchen, including enough for 10 people to enjoy meals together, to the lower level family room, perfect for families with kids, this is a great rental for families. Nothing compares to the views of the mountains from most rooms in the house. We would suggest this home to our families and friends to use on their stats in breckenridge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lone hand lodge in breckenridge. The home had everything you needed for the perfect vacation. The views of the mountains and location in breckenridge, makes this the perfect home for any vacation. We had two families sharing the home, and with the lower level living room for the kids, it was the perfect set up for our week. The fully stocked kitchen, as well as the amenities provided in the bathrooms, made for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely recommend this home to friends and family for their trips to breckenridge.
The house and location was a perfect fit for a ski trip. We were able to ski multiple sites and enjoy quite evenings at the house. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of parking.
My family of four and our friend enjoyed a terrific stay at Lone Hand Lodge. The home was nearly brand new at the time and in excellent condition. There was plenty of space for our tiny group of five to spread out, while the home would comfortably house much larger groups. Brand new home in excellent condition. All key utilities working at all times (radiant heating... very cool!). Gas fireplaces and hot tub in excellent working order. Also pleased to find a house-wide humidifier built-in. Televisions, cable and wireless internet all in working order. Dvd players (non-BlueRay) in main rooms. Also appears to be a speaker system throughout the home that I could not figure out (likely user error). Kitchen, breakfast nook were ample space. Plenty of linens, dishes provided. There was a large washer/dryer space that we did not need to use. The garage was a very large two-car, with plenty of space for skis, boots, etc. After a snow, our driveway was even plowed for us. We had an excellent time, and would come back again.
The accommodations exceeded our expectations with great views. It had everything for our family. Although it required us to drive, to slopes or to town it was not that inconvenient to use parking and buses. I would highly recommend for family vacations.
As they say, " don't yell fire in a theater" and don't say "free" to the extended family. We did and it was the best thing that we ever did. The home is wonderful. Decorated to the 10's, has everything thing you can ask for, and its close to Breckenridge. We had two wonderful weeks there in July 2012 and would not hesitate to do again.
