The house is a short 2 block walk from Main Street with all the shops, bars and restaurants there and around the corner from a local grocery store. This is a historic house which has been remodeled sometime in the past. Everything is as advertised and works ok for the most part. The gas stove should be self lighting, but isn't so you need to use the lighter get the stove working. That's a bit of a safety hazard but easy enough to work around once you find the lighter. The remodel work is just ok. It's mover than basic but nothing is "high-end" which I expected from such a pretty historic cottage on the outside. The most annoying thing for me was how the property management company handled the interactions with me via email. The points in their communication that I didn't care for were "YOUR CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 AM ON 06/25/17, Sunday. The cleaners will be standing outside at 10am. Sending them away will cost another night’s rental." Now I was out before 10 am but I did not see cleaners anywhere in sight then. Seemed a bit over the top for me and felt like I was being threatened instead of treated as a guest. This also felt a bit weird " OCCUPANCY. Your reservation is for a maximum of occupants. The total number of people allowed in your property at any time is restricted to this number. Absolutely no parties, weddings or other similar events are allowed. The neighbors have our number! " Now this place has bedding to sleep 8, but we said we would have 4 and that's what we did, but its seems a bit over the top that if I had guests over the neighbors would be calling the property management company and "telling on me"
The property was perfectly situated directly across the street from the free bus to the lifts. We ended up going to Beaver Run and obtaining our lift tickets. It was steps away from many shops, restaurants, and extra curriculars in the town center. The cottage was truly a home away from home. I thoughouly enjoyed my time there. It was very cozt and comfortable. The cooking tools and utensils exceeded all of my expectations. It really helped reduce the costs of dining out. The "fireplace" was a perfect addition to the overall experience and kept us warm at night. When the thermostat was switched on for heat...the heat literally came from the floors. It was perfect! The hot tub was a small track behind the property but did not phase us one bit. The key pick up and drop off was seamless! Not to mention the parking spot allowed us to save us on expensive shuttles to drive in and out as well as go grocery shopping. We were a group of professionals looking for a great ski getaway and we definitely found it. I would highly recommend this property to anyone! Kudos to the company for the ease of the process.
Location in Historic District - 2 nicks from Main St shops & restaurants & river. Beautiful view from rockers on front porch. By school and Carter Park- great if your kids like play grounds. Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

This cottage is walking distance to everything you need in Breck. Grocery and liquor store are a block away. Located in the middle of Main Street two blocks away close to restaurants, bars and ski rental shops. We found it within walking distance to the Maggie for quicksilver lift each morning. The cottage is meticulously maintained and will exceed your expectations. We will defenatly rebook this cottage our next trip to Breck .

Loved this house! We were just 4 so there was tons of space. You could easily sleep two sets of adults and some kids here with the queen and bunks in one of the rooms plus sofa bed in the living room (save the master suite for yourself!). Location is great. An easy walk to Quicksilver lift. Just a couple of blocks from a supermarket and practically backing onto the sledding hill for later afternoon fun. Our teenage boys spent every afternoon outdoors on that hill! We didn't need to get in our car at all during the week (apart from a drive to a basin and keystone some days just to mix it up on the slopes).
Location to bus stop ideal Handy to town and grocery store. Breckenridge had interesting shops and restaurants.

Had a great time at the French St Cottage. Went with my girlfriend and another couple. Heated floors were a huge plus. I miss them everyday.

Perfect access to bus line that takes you straight to Peak 9 base. Short walk to Main St in nice weather, or a really short drive. House is nice enough, good water pressure and hot water. Beds are adequate. Hot tub is small (2 people). Overall a great value and a perfect location for a Breck ski trip. visitbreck.com was good to work with Best part is location, there were no major negatives to speak of. Would (and likely will) stay there again.
Located right in front of the elementary school and a park with a wicked fun sledding hill. Grocery/liquor store is one block west. Main street is two blocks west. Ski lifts are 15 - 20 min walk, a bit too far carrying equipment. However the bus station is directly in front of the place and leaves every 20 min. The ride is 20 - 25 min.The heating is radiant floor heating, so if you leave your ski equipment on the floor, it will be warmed up nicely in the morning. Checkin/Checkout was hassle free. I arrived after the office closed and left before it opened with ease. There are drop boxes to pick up and drop of keys. Overall, the house is very comfortable for six people. I think more than six people would push the limits. House has full kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/silverware and a dishwasher. It has one very small 4 person square dining table awkwardly pushed into a corner. Washer and dryer are very nice to have. There is outside ski/board storage. Except for snow removal equipment and garbage trucks, the place is quiet. The package deal with lift tickets to the five resorts was very affordable and convenient.
We were able to walk to dining and entertainment...the place was nice and very comfortable. So handy with a washer and dryer! The dishes were all dirty when we got there but didn't stop our fun. We will use this company again!
